Bhuwan Silhare is an Indian contemporary artist whose paintings celebrate India's cultural, architectural, and spiritual heritage through richly atmospheric landscapes and cityscapes. For nearly three decades, his practice has centred on documenting places that embody the nation's historical and cultural identity, particularly the sacred city of Varanasi and the colonial landmarks of Mumbai.

Inspired by the timeless ghats of Varanasi and the architectural grandeur of structures such as the Gateway of India and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Bhuwan creates works that seek to capture not only the physical beauty of these sites but also their emotional and spiritual resonance. His distinctive technique combines acrylic on canvas with the fluid transparency of watercolour, producing luminous surfaces that convey both delicacy and depth.

Bhuwan has presented numerous solo exhibitions at Jehangir Art Gallery, Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Gallery Art & Soul, Kamalnayan Bajaj Art Gallery, and other leading venues in Mumbai. His work has also been exhibited internationally, including at the Indian Trade Fair in Moscow, alongside sustained participation in exhibitions organised by the Bombay Art Society, Art Society of India, and the Government of Maharashtra. His achievements include the Bombay Art Society Award for Best Landscape Painting.
