About the founder
Parvez Damania has founded Mumbai Art House, as a means to help artists showcase their work to a wider audience. A passionate art connoisseur and collector for over a decade, he has consistently supported artists, exhibitions and visual storytelling. Over the years, he has hosted and championed art shows, while also recognising and sponsoring emerging artists at crucial stages of their careers. His interest particularly embraces photography as a means of preserving culture and memory, reflected in projects documenting Udvada and the Pandharpur Wari. Over the years, Parvez has become known for encouraging artists and creating platforms where art, heritage and community can meaningfully intersect.
