Being born in Thane "The City of Lakes" and brought up in Nasik "The City of Grapes", both the cities boast rich artistic heritage, deeply rooted in its historical and cultural traditions. This in a way has instilled the artistic inclination right from my childhood. I have done B.E. in computers and working as an IT professional in a multinational company, based in Thane.
It started as a hobby to sketch and paint, which went on to become an integral part of my life. Landscape or cityscape is what I enjoy most and make it a point to sketch or paint on every weekend as that is the only time to be away from work. Usually enjoy painting or sketching outdoors.
Painting is like a meditation for me to beat the stress and maintain the work life balance.
Landscape or cityscape is what I enjoy most. I am specially inclined towards old/heritage structures, architecture and day to day locations/situations which usually we tend to ignore. I like to capture the play of light and shadow which gives a depth and liveliness to the painting.
My source of inspiration is master artist Mr. Milind Mullick.
