Manojkumar Sakale (b. 1975) is a contemporary Indian painter based in Mumbai whose practice is rooted in portraiture, representation, and observations of childhood. Raised in Nandre village near Sangli, Maharashtra, Manojkumar developed an enduring interest in the experiences, expressions, and emotional worlds of children, translating these observations into paintings that combine drawing, collage, photography, and fragments of newspaper.

Manojkumar's childhood experiences remain an important foundation for his work, although his paintings approach these memories through observation rather than nostalgia. His depictions of children in different moods, gestures, and situations address the broader conditions of childhood, encompassing playfulness, joy, frustration, vulnerability, and the social realities of growing up. Drawing remains integral to his compositions, while newspaper elements and photographic imagery introduce additional texture and context.

Manojkumar holds an Art Teacher's Diploma, Government Diploma in Art, and Diploma in Art Education. He has presented solo exhibitions at Jehangir Art Gallery, Kismat Art Gallery, Gallery Leela, Nehru Centre Art Gallery, Art2Day, and other venues, and has participated in exhibitions including the Singapore Art Fair and presentations at major Indian art institutions.

His numerous honours include the Gopal Deuskar All India Portrait First Award, the Vasudeo Kamath Grand Prize, the Bendre–Husain Scholarship, and multiple awards from the Bombay Art Society and Art Society of India. His works are represented in collections including Rashtrapati Bhavan, Songadh Museum, Sammed Shikharji Museum, the Discovery of India collection, and the Scientist Gallery at Nehru Planetarium, Mumbai.
