Virendra Chopde is an Indian contemporary painter whose practice investigates the poetic relationship between nature and the human form through a distinctive vocabulary of recurring symbols. Inspired by organic motifs such as the chafa flower, leaves, and the human figure, he constructs evocative compositions that explore themes of harmony, memory, growth, and emotional interconnectedness.

Born in Kamptee, Maharashtra, Virendra earned both his Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University before completing a Diploma in Art Education. His paintings combine disciplined drawing with a refined sense of colour and composition, resulting in works that balance abstraction and representation while maintaining a strong emotional presence.

Virendra has presented solo exhibitions including GULZAR at Kismat Art Gallery, Mumbai, and FRAGRANCE at Jehangir Art Gallery, alongside participation in numerous national and international group exhibitions. His artistic contributions have been recognised through awards such as the Jawaharlal Darda Art Competition Award and the Jury Award from Manav Sanket Academy, reflecting his sustained commitment to artistic excellence.
