I am a watercolor artist based in Mumbai, currently pursuing my MFA in Painting at Sir J.J. School of Art. My work is primarily inspired by landscapes, architecture, and everyday environments observed through direct experience. Through watercolor, I explore light, atmosphere, and the quiet relationship between nature and human presence. I am particularly interested in capturing fleeting moments, subtle color transitions, and the emotional character of a place.
I am originally from Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. I completed my BFA in Painting from Sir J.J. School of Art and am currently pursuing my MFA. Over the years, I have focused on watercolor painting, developing my practice through plein-air studies, landscapes, and architectural subjects. My work has been exhibited in group exhibitions, and I continue to explore the expressive possibilities of watercolor as my primary medium.
My artistic inclination lies towards observational painting and the tradition of watercolor landscape art. I am influenced by the changing qualities of natural light, historic architecture, and the atmosphere of places I visit. My practice is shaped by direct observation, plein-air painting, and an appreciation for simplicity, mood, and subtle visual storytelling. I am drawn to artists who emphasize light, space, and emotional resonance through watercolor.
