FLOW AGAINST SILENCE

This painting explores the symbolic presence of the peacock as a metaphor for awareness, beauty, ego, and spiritual awakening. Positioned centrally against a hypnotic field of flowing linear patterns, the peacock appears both majestic and introspective — almost suspended between reality and illusion. The vibrant green and golden lines create a rhythmic movement across the surface, resembling energy waves, fingerprints, or pathways of consciousness. At the top center, the solitary peacock feather eye acts as a spiritual symbol — suggesting the “third eye,” inner vision, and the unseen force that silently observes everything. The clouds above introduce a contrast between the earthly and the divine, grounding the composition in both nature and transcendence. The peacock itself is painted in intense blues and deep iridescent tones, representing pride, identity, and self-expression. Yet despite its grandeur, the bird stands alone in stillness, inviting the viewer to question whether true beauty lies in appearance or in awareness. Through this work, I attempt to merge ornamental aesthetics with psychological and spiritual symbolism, creating a visual space where nature becomes a reflection of the inner self.
