Women at the studio

In This body of work is rooted in my ongoing conceptual investigation titled women at the studio part of 'Dead Space. it's not a synonym for nothingness or a mere physical void. rather, it represents a profound, meditative sanctuary where the external noise of the world dissolves. In these paintings, I depict individuals who are not defined by activity or engagement, but by their sheer presence within solitude. This curated isolation becomes a site of internal dialogue, where personal values and singular identities are reclaimed away from societal influences and stereotypes. The textured surfaces and specific academic focus on the figure intensify this state of being, where the physical body remains still, but the internal spirit is intensely active, experiencing what I describe as a 'gentle numbness'—a poetic resilience and peace found only in stillness.
