Cupboard of memories ||

Cupboard of Memories” is a personal reflection of the beautiful memories I have shared with cats. The artwork represents a space where emotions, companionship, and moments are preserved like treasured memories inside a cupboard. Cats are portrayed not merely as animals, but as gentle companions who bring comfort, affection, and a sense of belonging. The blue, grey, and brown colour palette creates a calm and nostalgic atmosphere. Blue reflects peace and emotional depth, grey suggests the passage of time and remembrance, while brown adds warmth, grounding the composition with a feeling of familiarity and home. Through layering, tonal variation, controlled brushwork, and balanced composition, I have tried to create depth and a quiet emotional atmosphere. The expressive treatment of forms and subtle contrasts allow the memories to emerge naturally, celebrating the silent bond between humans and animals.
