A Devotee Resting in the Mud.

I captured this photograph at Pandharpur Village in Maharashtra(India) during the Wari/Palkhi festival . lacs of devotees reach Pandharpur Village after walking a distance of 220 kilometers. Devotees perform in various art forms including singing, dancing, and chanting in the holy town of Pandharpur during the festival. I saw a devotee who was lying down in the mud before the prayer began. He slept in the mud without any hesitation.
