ISHARA -The FLY VII

A single gesture is enough to shift attention. Three chimpanzees, united by one shared direction, transform a simple moment into an invitation to look closer. Their expressive, almost human-like presence evokes intelligence, curiosity, and social connection,reminding us that the impulse to notice, follow, and respond is not uniquely human. Set against a vibrant mint-green backdrop, the monochromatic figures create a striking contrast between the energetic colour field and the quiet intensity of the chimpanzees. One of the three figures emerges partially in shadow, introducing an element of concealment and ambiguity. The shadow becomes a metaphor for the overlooked: a presence that exists within the composition yet remains on the margins of immediate attention. Paradoxically, what is concealed can become just as compelling as what is revealed.
