This was an unseen corner that was slightly neglected, and no one really paid attention to it. Through this, I have experienced qualities of desolation and stillness. Originally, this is a sculpture meant for studying anatomy (body structure), and this is its first replica. However, there is one key difference: in Western art, where the original piece belongs, it is not desolate at all because, for them, it represents a god. But here, it is quite the opposite. Here, it lies in a ruined, broken state—much like a specimen of the aftermath left behind after a destruction. It was a part of daily life that received very little attention. In this painting, I have tried to capture independent beauty of it.
