This 2026 Devi Puja is one of your most composed and balanced works. At the top, temple bells hang under a neem tree. Below, seven women form a semi-circle: one with blue saree and dotara, two central singers in orange and white, a central elder in black-red saree with tuntuna, and others with flowers. Their black faces with triangular yellow-red tilak, nath and heavy necklaces are rendered in your signature semi-cubist style. At the bottom, a Devi photo in a wicker basket glows, flanked by a girl in green and a boy in pink topi with manjira. Diyas, pooja thali and flower baskets complete the ritual. It is a complete portrait of how women lead kirtan, children learn it, and the goddess lives in a simple basket.
